Sheetal Nehra

Founder & Chief Executive Officer   

Sheetal established Surfpin in 2002 and is our Founder and CEO. He supervises our overall strategy to ensure Surfpin is at the cutting edge of phone and mobile payment methods for web monetization.

Prior to Surfpin, Sheetal spent eight years at News Corporation both in London and Hong Kong. His early roles there involved the launch of a CRM management system to handle 10 million subscribers for Star TV Asia and BSkyB. Internally he then established a consulting division along with 3 other consultants which in turn advised and sold to the likes of Discovery Channel, Bloomberg, Disney and MTV. This division pioneered interactive TV including the concept of personal video recorders. It was during this time while working on some gaming projects that Sheetal came up with the idea of mobile and phone payments for the internet and hence Surfpin was born.

He enjoys playing the guitar and singing, yoga and relaxing holidays on a beach when he can.

Sheetal has a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science along with an MBA, both from Imperial College, London.

John Adebayo

Chief Financial Officer   

John manages the financial team within Surfpin which includes managing all the relationships with network operators and carriers. Prior to Surfpin, he held various management positions at GlaxoSmithKline and then moved to UBS Investment Bank as their Director of Risk.

He is a Trustee and chairs the Finance Committee of the Unicorn Theatre, the first ever purpose built professional theatre for children in the UK. John is also co-founder and director of the Yoruba Foundation. He enjoys taking out his motorbike on the weekends and can be frequently seen riding through Europe on road trips.

John has a degree in statistics and computing from De Montfort University, a diploma in marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and an MBA from the University of Bradford.

Nicholas Grubb

VP Product Development   

Nick creates all the new products and services that are continuously evolving from Surfpin. He is a mobile and phone payments guru and oversees all our development.

Nick began his career at Nestle where he helped implement a global CRM solution. A serial entrepreneur since, Nick has set up a number of successful Internet businesses that run the gamut from corporate hospitality to online ticket sales.

When he's not at work, you'll find him on the golf course winning local pro-am tournaments.

Nick has a degree in Business Information Systems from Sheffield Hallam University.
